When it comes to adopting a senior dog, you may not spend a lifetime together, but you will make a lifetime of memories. So please, allow us to introduce you to a senior dog who is currently in a foster home, is available for adoption and is looking for his forever home.

We are all wild about Harry. He is wonderful senior dog. Harry is a 10-year-old miniature pinscher mix who weighs 20 pounds. Even though he is an angel, is housebroken and is pretty much a perfect gentleman, he is getting overlooked at Nashville Humane Association, which is unfortunate because this senior dog totally rocks. Age is just a number to him. He is filled with energy, sweetness, love, spunk, plus an endearing raspy bark.

Harry is a laid-back and chill kind of guy with a get-up-and-go attitude when he notices a leash. He also has the same attitude when he sees a blanket and a squishy bed. Either going for strolls around the neighborhood or hanging inside demanding belly rubs and treats, Harry is ready for whatever you want to do! And he will do it right by your side. When he is with his people, Harry is the happiest.

One of Harry’s most favorite things to do is to go for a walk. This guy loves taking in the sights while standing tall and proud with his “I still got it” strut! Another one of his favorite things are soft, squishy beds — covered with a blanket and surrounded by toys.

Harry was transported several weeks ago to NHA from one of our community partners that was overcrowded and beyond capacity with pets. Being a senior dog, Harry was getting overlooked. Even though he is an amazing dog, he was not getting an opportunity to show off how amazing he is. We all find his gray face charming and hope all of you will, too. Paws are totally crossed that after this Main Street Nashville feature, Harry will have the forever home we all dream for him!

Please enjoy his pictures. As you can see, Harry is handsome and happy. By now you are most likely thinking “Harry is the one for me,” and you’re right. Please let us know you’re interested and we’ll set up the meet.
